Who Is The Martial Arts & Ninja Yoga Beach Retreat For?
Many courses try to stockpile large groups and offer generic fitness, yoga, or martial arts as a strategy to help the many. We focus on providing our own unique training to the few. This means our classes are smaller and there is more interaction available with the Instructor. You will be under the guidance and tutelage of a veteran of the industry with more than 20 years teaching the martial arts and fitness. If you have done yoga in the past, then you can get something unique and take a break from traditional yoga with our Ninja Yoga morning sessions.
We also do fitness for all levels and these optional workouts are for kickstarting the day with a morning workout that is focused on our Five Key areas of Fitness focus:
Our Multi-Martial Arts training is perfect for those just starting out or interested in what the martial arts have to offer. Learn drills to improve your strikes and kicks that are fun and feel like you are learning a real martial arts system – because you will be. How to roll and fall are part of the training too. We explain the difference between what is practical for self-defence and what is for show or fun in the martial arts. Our style of training as set down by Master Instructor Rick Tew has proven to train students 3X faster than traditional systems. We don’t limit our training to punches and kicks either, the system incorporates focus on the mind too and Mr Tew has written 5 complimentary books on subjects related to mental martial arts.
Advanced students or practitioners will also have a lot to gain as an educated audience always gets the best show. So those looking to improve their skills will be able to take advantage of Mr Tew’s vast background of knowledge.

NINJA OPTIONAL FOCUS

The word Ninja of our Ninja-MMA program stands for the American Ninjitsu system (also known as the Martial Science) that Rick Tew founded. If you have a passion for the martial arts or if you have always wanted to learn the martial arts or the Ninja Arts, Rick Tew’s Thailand training program has it all. You are not limited to kicking a bag and doing push-ups. With our unique Ninja focused classes, you are learning to stand, breathe, walk, talk and move like a Ninja too. Though you may have only experienced Ninja concepts for kids (or Ninja Turtles), this is a modern, realistic and useful self-defence system too. We offer students both the Martial (military based practicality) and also the joy of the Arts (fun and excitement) in all of our classes. MMA OPTIONAL FOCUS
Some Students would like to learn to grapple (ground Jujutsu) or fight spar (kickboxing and Muay Thai) and since this has been a part of Rick Tew’s Modern Ninja training and Martial Science since day one, we want to inform you that we can include full-contact training as an “optional” part of the multi-martial arts Ninja training. This is OPTIONAL and still something you can decide not to do too, as many students will prefer to stick to the personal development focus, improving mind, body, and spirit without combat. Also, our Ninja Training still offers a complete and well-rounded martial art system.

Our course offers a full system for the martial arts. Many programs simply throw together different training sessions but do not provide a complete martial arts course from A to Z. Where Will You Train in Koh Samui Thailand?
Our centre is located on the Island of Koh Samui Thailand. Most Students will attend training at our NinjaGym® Beach Retreat location. We often do hotel style City College of Martial Science training (CMS) in Bangkok (contact us for details). The training is usually outside or on martial art mats over a hard surface for realistic training or indoors in rooms designed for training. We often use the outdoors for all-terrain training that usually includes the grass or sandy beaches. Please be prepared for flexibility as our program is focused on the training and not the exact location of the training.
Where Will You Stay in Koh Samui Thailand?
You will either find your own place (we can often help to arrange in advance) or stay with us at the Beach Retreat Center (limited space) on a shared housing basis and subject to the house rules. You can often rent a private room that meets your needs. You will be on a program designed for learning the martial arts and developing your personal attributes.
When Can I Come to Koh Samui Thailand?
We usually have an open schedule for those looking for more privacy but often have students begin together as a group for a particular period of the year. Check with us now to see if there is space and when the next training period will be available for you as prices change and early registration provides the lowest price.
What To Bring to Koh Samui Thailand?
First and most important is to bring a flexible and positive attitude and any items you will need for personal living. It is an island (though too big to walk) that has a lot of sunshine. You will want to have the appropriate gear for where you will be living (fitness and travel clothes, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.).
